You will see that I called shortly after we spoke on the phone. We have made several hundred 16 gauge snow crickets in the last several years. This is the only one that I know of that has failed, even through last winter. Please stop by and we will provide a refund. Original response: We typically don't warranty products that are installed by others because we can't control the installation methods, and we can't make sure that products are used for the application that they were intended (as in this situation). This is typical practice for material suppliers. When we spoke, I offered a discounted replacement, but you refused. An employee had previously said that he would take care of you. I did not know that he made any arrangement with you until after we spoke. I left a message for you within an hour of speaking with you to resolve this, but I haven't heard back. Please let me know if we can still help.

I had Woody's make me a snow cricket to protect a pipe on my roof from snow slides. I live in Idaho City so we got a lot of snow last winter s. I paid $160 which I thought was high but it looked pretty sturdy so I bought it. It failed the first winter by collapsing from the side. I took it to them and they said they had never seen one fail. They said they would take care of me. I didn't hear anything from them for more than three months so I stopped by to check on it. They dropped the ball and hadn't done anything. So I got a call saying they could build one more sturdy and asked me how I would like to pay for it! WHAT! They led me to believe they would warranty it but now they want another $160! Why on earth would I give them another $160 for a product they don't stand behind? Find a business willing to stand by their products before doing business with these guys! Response to response: I told the employee exactly what I was doing to protect the pipe on my roof. I even showed him pictures of the roof and how I was going to install it. They didn't offer to install it since they say they don't warranty products installed by others. I don't believe they "install" the products they make. Woody's only replied by phone to renegotiate this situation after getting notice of my one star rating. In my book, the initial response to a customer complaint shows the real position they take in backing their workmanship. It's easy to get simple cuts of sheet metal, but if you want a specialty product, ask for the warranty information first! Better yet, look for a company that stands behind their product!

These guys are true professionals at what they do. I recently purchased a metal roof package from Woody's and I honestly couldn't be happier with doing business with them. It is also great to be able to support local small businesses as well!

Woody's Sheet metal is amazing to work with! We have used them for many years. Today when I realized I had an order that needed to be made and I forgot to order it ahead of time Woody's went above and beyond to get our materials bent and ready for us within a few hours!
